According to an All4Women report, a minor had been knocked down by a vehicle on Sercor Drive in Strand on Thursday 6 February.
Paramedics arrived at the scene at 16:30 pm and found a toddler aged 3, lying in the road, the toddler was airlifted to hospital.
ER24 spokesperson, Werner Vermaak said “He had severe head injuries and other fractures. Paramedics stabilized the boy on the scene and called the Air Mercy Services helicopter to airlift the young patient to the Red Cross Children’s Hospital for further medical care”
He added, “The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are not yet known. The driver of the vehicle was not injured in the incident”
