South Korea’s COVID-19 Recovery Rate is Almost at 45%

According to local media in South Korea, the Covid-19 recovery rate in South Korea is almost 45%.

The Korea Herald reported that 4144 patients out of 9421 cases have made full recoveries since the first case was reported on 20 January.  

A total of 414 have been discharged from hospitals on Thursday, 4966 patients are still receiving treatment and 56 are in critical condition. A total of 284 cases came from abroad.

Yonhap News Agency reported that on Wednesday the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention confirmed that they have 9421 cases along with 6 fatalities which brings their death toll up to 132.

The Korea Herald reported that a total of 364 942 people have been tested for the COVID-19 in South Korea so far, where 341 332 tested negative and 14 369 are still waiting on their results.

“The data shows more than 472,700 cases have been reported worldwide since last December, with the death toll above 21,300 and over 115,000 successful recoveries,” Anadolu Agency reported.
