Six Men Shot Dead in Site C Khayelitsha, Four More Injured

According to a South African Police Service (SAPS) report, on Wednesday six men were killed while four others were injured following a mass shooting in Site C, Khayelitsha. 

According to Brigadier Novela Potelwa, the police in Khayelitsha were called out at around 16:00 to Solomon Tshuku Street. On the scene, six men were found dead while four others, who had sustained injuries, were taken to hospital for treatment. It is reported that the perpetrators fired shots both inside and outside of a building in Solomon Tshuku street.

Members of the Khayelitsha SAPS are currently investigating cases of murder and attempted member with the motive of the shooting yet to be determined.
