Twenty-Four-Year old Shudufhadzo Musida was crowned Miss South Africa 2020 at the prestigious pageant held at the Table Bay hotel in Cape Town on Saturday.
Shudu, as she is commonly known, is from Limpopo and graduated from the University of Pretoria with a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE). She is currently completing a BA Honours in International Relations at the University of Witwatersrand.
Musida walks away with a lucrative R3-million prize package, which includes a R1 million cash prize from the Miss South Africa Organisation and for the year of her reign, use of a fully furnished and serviced apartment in Central Square in Sandton and a Mercedes-Benz C200 Cabriolet.
Thato Mosehle is the first runner-up, while Natasha Joubert took the third spot. The first and second runners-up will walk away with R250 000 and R100 000 respectively.
