Robert Packham granted bail

CAPE TOWN – Robert Packham who was charged with the murder of his wife, has been granted bail.
The R50 000 bail, has strict conditions attached to it. State advocate Susan Galloway said that she is not against his release. The bail conditions for 57 year old Packham include him being under house arrest, being restricted from contacting witnesses and he has to hand over his passport.
Robert Packham, who is the general manager of Twizza, appeared in court smartly dressed today as he stood trial for the murder of Gill Packham and attempting to pervert the course of justice.
The court ruled that the media may not publish photos or videos of Packham in court.
Gill Packham worked at Springfield Girls Convent in Wynberg. After being reported as missing, her remains were discovered on the 22nd of February at Diep River train station.
The case was postponed until 8 May 2018.
