According to reports, three people were murdered on Sunday evening in Hillview, Muizenberg. The victims appear to have been burnt to death, an investigation is underway.
EWN reported that several SAPS members and the City of Cape Town’s law enforcement officials have been deployed to the area.
According to EWN’s report, the SAPS’s Novela Potelwa said: “A heavy police contingent is keeping an eye on an area in Hillview, Muizenberg following an incident where three yet-to-be-identified bodies were found burned to death on Sunday night. Anyone with information about the incident is urged to contact the police. The situation remains tense in the area although no further incidents were reported overnight.”
