On Thursday morning members of the community policing forum discovered the body of a 22-year-old woman at a dumping site in the Siyanyanzela informal settlement in Phillipi.

The body is believed to be that of Nomvuzo Atoll, who was reportedly last seen on Wednesday evening during a visit with friends. The family of Atoll allegedly found out about the discovery on the social media platform, Facebook.

Police were notified by community members who upon discovery, found that Atoll had sustained head injuries.

In June this year, the body of 17-year-old Amahle Quku was found in the same area, her family too found out through social media.
