The digital lifestyle magazine you didn’t know you needed is officially here. Vroumens magazine will be available for free download today.
The Vannie Kaap brand launched its media agency on 11 November at an official event at 44 On Long – using VK Media’s social capital to do media, as only they can.
After launching various new platforms and marketing channels during lockdown – the media house has now launched their first digital magazine.
The Vroumens magazine is a celebration of South African women
Rasheeqah Karriem-Hock, also known as Sheeca’s Closet, is the cover girl of the launch edition. She talks about her secret wedding, content creation during lockdown and starting her own retail business.
The focus of this launch edition is on the festive period – the traditions, food and culture commemorated during this time. But it also highlights the essence behind this time, Joanie Fredericks tells her story and why this season isn’t the only season of giving. Marlene Le Roux speaks to us about finding hope after a year of great loss.
This December edition is also filled with delicious recipes from Cape Town’s finest; Fatima Sydow, Lameez Abraham, Reuben Riffel and Cariema Isaacs. They give us their twists on the classics from parmesan roast chicken to raspberry white chocolate trifle with sponge cake. Oh, and don’t forget the lemon and hibiscus loaf for teatime!
And it’s not under a tree, but Bernie has a very merry Christmas giveaway for you inside. Here’s a hint: it rhymes with w(h)ine. There’s also an exclusive discount code for Roz B Lashes and the QR code for the latest VK WhatsApp stickers.
Vroumens will be a monthly magazine available for free download.
