SABC News reported that the body of Clodine Nuys a 22-year-old librarian from Jonkersberg was found next to a pre-school near Great Brak River.
Reports state that Clodine didn’t come home at her usual time and she wasn’t answering her phone. Worried family and friends started their search and found her body around 6 pm.
Algoa FM reported that Police spokesperson, Sergeant Laurianne Botha, said the young woman, whose mouth was covered with tape, was last seen leaving her house at 7’o clock on Tuesday morning when she headed off to work at the town’s library just a kilometre away from her house.
According to SABC News, her cellphone and the keys to the library are missing. Police spokesperson, Malcolm Pojie, says their investigation led them to a house in the village where a possible suspect fled into the forest upon seeing the police.
