Yesterday two men were charged with the brutal murder of 16-year-old Jordan Moore.

On Friday 7 November, Moore and two of his friends were sitting in a park in Robinvale Atlantis, when they were approached by the men who threatened them with guns, reports EWN.

According to the publication, Moore’s battered body was found soon thereafter. He had been stabbed and mauled by dogs.

Western Cape Police Spokesperson, Andre Traut said, “Our investigation into the brutal murder of a 16-year-old boy in Atlantis on Friday evening led to the arrest of two male suspects, 18 and 24. They made a court appearance in Atlantis.”

On Monday, Moore’s distraught mother spoke to EWN, and said that she believed that she would get justice for her son. She further said, “My son didn’t deserve to die the way he did and just the thought of him fighting for his life, it’s not right what they did to him.”

An outpouring of messages of condolences, tribute, and outrage from Moore’s shocked friends and people from his community have flooded the ‘Justice for JORDAN MOORE’ Facebook group.

A memorial service honouring the slain teen was held at his school on yesterday.
