A 67-year-old grandmother and her grandchildren were found murdered near the Maokeng village in Limpopo on Tuesday morning.
According to Police spokesperson Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo, the woman’s neighbours found it strange that there was no movement or sound coming from the house.
“They went to investigate and that’s when the gruesome discovery was made,” he said. When police arrived at the home, they discovered the three bodies lying in a pool of blood.
The mother of the two children aged 6 and 9 was not home during the time of the attack.
An investigation into the murders are underway, however, no arrests have been made.
