On Thursday, Thyrone Williams, spokesperson for the family of 9-Year-Old Leo Williams who was shot amid tensions in Laingville, told VK News that doctors have become more optimistic about Leo’s condition.

It was previously reported that doctors told the family on Sunday, 9 August that they would start systematically removing life support machines due to his condition. The legal guardian and biological mother would also have had to make the decision on whether to switch off the last machines.

However, according to Thyrone Williams, following a hospital visit on Thursday doctors have become more optimistic about Leo’s condition since Sunday and have not shut down any life support machines as yet. He has proven to be a real fighter!

While Leo remains in a critical condition, the family has asked that people continue to pray for Leo as they believe that a miracle is possible.
