Members of the Gugulethu SAPS Crime Prevention Unit confiscated drugs worth an estimated R10 000 at a shack in the Barcelona Informal Settlement on Tuesday.
The bust happened when the officers received crucial information while on routine patrols on Tuesday night at around 23:40.
One large bag, as well as smaller bankies filled with dagga, 18 half and 70 full mandrax tablets, was confiscated as well as an undisclosed amount of cash.
A 37-year-old man was arrested in connection with the confiscated drugs and will appear in court once he is charged.
