According to police spokesperson, Lieutenant Colonel Dimakatso Mooi, the 76-year-old man was a traditional healer of the victim’s family.

The victim informed her mother of the incidents and a charge was laid at SAPS on Sunday. “The matter was reported to police on 10 January 2021 after the girl told her mother what has been happening,” said Mooi.
