Mutilated Body of a 42-Year-Old Woman Found in Eesterust

According to a SAPS statement, a 42-year-old woman was killed and found in an outside room in Eersterust Tshwane on Sunday morning at around 6 am.

Reports say the 42-year-old woman had been stabbed to death, however, the SAPS report has not confirmed this. During the preliminary investigation, police found that the victim’s boyfriend asked for transport money from a family member, allegedly saying he needed it to get to a new job.

The police are searching for Mr Clayton Andrews to assist in the investigation as he is reportedly the last person to be in contact with the deceased.

The Provincial Commissioner condemns the killings of women in the Province in the strongest terms it deserves and calls upon all members of the communities to assist in the fight against Gender-Based Violence and its manifestations.

The motive of the killing is still unknown at this stage of the investigation.
